Storie Street Grille began in 2000 and has been revered as a gem in the downtown village of Blowing Rock.

In 2018, Lela and Aaron Silver made Storie Street their restaurant home after years of working with some of the areas finest Chef’s and Restaurateurs.

After over 2o years, we are evolving SSG’s journey into a new chapter, SSG & Sidecar Bar!

Our welcoming hometown vibe, fresh and local offerings will still remain. Don’t worry, many of your favorite dishes aren’t going anywhere. You can expect the same down to earth atmosphere.

As always, sourcing from our friends, neighborhood farms, local purveyors, NC brewers, wineries & distillers. All while preserving the expectation of exemplary service and hospitality.

Call ahead seating for lunch is available up to 2 hours in advance, just give us a ring or pop in and we will be happy to help you.

lunch reservations are available on sunday & for parties of 6 - 12 guests at 11:30am & noon. large parties are welcome at later times for lunch but are considered call ahead seating only.

Reservations for dinner start at 4:30pm. indoor dining tables are available in advance for online reservations. online reservations may be made for parties of 5 guests or less. patio reservations open for online reservations the day of if weather permits

reservations for parties of 5 or less are slotted for a 90 minute reservation while reservations for 6 or more are slotted for 2 hours.

patio RESERVATIONS FOR DINNER ARE ACCEPTED THE DAY OF only IF WEATHER PERMITS. IF YOU HAVE A NOTE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE THE PATIO, WE WILL GLADLY MOVE YOUR RESERVATION IF available. Please note we may have to move your reservation time to accomodate the seating request.

reservations for groups of 6 - 12 guests may only be made by phone. reservations made for large groups online with notes requesting additional guests may not be able to be accomodated and possibly cancelled.

Table requests will be noted and we will do our very best but cannot guarantee them as tables will be offered on a first arrival basis.

At this time we are not taking parties larger than 12 guests. We are happy to split up parties larger than 12 guests into separate tables and spaced seating times and require a manager approval.

Reservations who have not arrived or made other accommodations with us by phone will be relinquished after 15 minutes. If you arrive late without notification and your table has been given to other guests, we will do our best to fit you in as soon as it is possible but we will not skip other guests who have been patiently waiting or were on time.

The reservation book is not open for staff to make reservations beyond 30 days.
